UNIFIED Music Group is pleased to announce major promotions for two of its leading international team, as well as welcome new additions to its Melbourne staff.

As UNIFIED approaches the next ten years of growth and development, the company welcomes Michelle Rose to UNIFIED HQ in Richmond in the newly created position of Commercial Marketing Manager. Michelle brings a wealth of experience to UNIFIED following recent posts at Live Nation, Pandora and Sonos. Michelle will focus on the development of commercial and community opportunities for the ever expanding global UNIFIED Artist Management roster, the Red Hill Entertainment festivals and other group companies such as Built To Spill Wines.

In addition, Anna Clemson joins the rapidly growing Super Special Merchandise team at its base in Brooklyn, Melbourne. Super Special is UNIFIED’s own merchandise print production, tour, online and fulfilment business. Anna’s rich experience in managing global marketing, digital and design campaigns for international brands in the UK and Australia across fashion and online retail will be invaluable in her role as E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Manager overseeing the company’s online stores including 24Hundred and SpaceMirror Merchandise.

Elsewhere, there have been two major global promotions on UNIFIED’s Recorded Music department where Francesca Caldara and Ben Patashnik will be promoted into newly-created roles that find them handling specific areas of the label’s rapid global expansion.

With the responsibility of overseeing the acquisition of new artists to the label, Francesca’s new title will be Senior A&R Manager. After launching the North American leg of UNFD in 2018, Francesca has lead the label’s US operations and played a first-hand role in expanding its North American roster with signings including Silverstein, Frank Iero, ERRA, Like Moths To Flames, Hollow Front + more.

This position finds her continuing to scout and negotiate new worldwide artist deals in line with UNFD’s A&R Strategy. Prior to working with UNIFIED’s Recorded Music team, Francesca spent over a decade in A&R, royalty management, marketing and PR roles at Equal Vision Records.

Ben Patashnik will take on the new title of Senior Strategy Manager, a global role that will find him presenting and executing plans for the label to achieve its Australian and international expansion goals. Providing strategic direction to all areas of UNFD such as operations, marketing/PR, community management and branding, Ben will also assess for other potential growth areas and ways to streamline the label’s processes.

Prior to launching UNIFIED’s London office in 2014, Ben was the Editor of the UK’s acclaimed magazine Rock Sound, had further bylines for the likes of VICE, BBC, The Guardian & NME and consulted for Red Bull Music.

UNIFIED Recorded Music General Manager Luke Logemann shares on UNFD’s global growth over the last decade and on announcing Francesca & Ben’s promotions:

“After beginning in 2011 as a label that only operated in Australia, but with a view from day one to expand into other countries, UNFD celebrates 10 years in existence this year. Since 2014 we have been more active in having people on the ground and doing our best to connect the dots so that our Australian artists had more pathways to international markets, as well as licensing internationals records for Australia. Fast forward to 2021 and we have teams on the ground in Europe and America, and 11 out of the 27 artists on our current roster are from Europe, Asia or North America.

“All of that growth is only possible because of the two incredible people who we have worked with from the ground up to build our dream of a global label. Ben has worked tirelessly for 7 years to build a great team and network in Europe, and has contributed globally to strategy and marketing. Francesca joined us three years ago and has signed a list of brilliant artists for us. I’m extremely proud of, and grateful for both of them.”

UNIFIED Music Group celebrates its official 10 year anniversaries in 2021. Keep up to to date with UNIFIED to hear more on the company’s celebrations and initiatives.
