UNIFIED Music Group is pleased to welcome the Funny Business podcast to the family as its newest management client. UNIFIED founding CEO Jaddan Comerford & rising Australian manager Dan Nascimento (Ocean Alley, Jack Botts) will manage Funny Business, a rapidly rising business/entrepreneurship & performance podcast launched out of lockdown. 

Formed by Torquay-based best mates Rob Hicks & Lachlan Bradford in April 2020, Funny Business has climbed to a near 100 full episodes and over 50,000 lifetime downloads in less than a year. On track to hit a huge 10K listens for the month of March alone, the podcast has become known for its relatability and humour and diverse range of guests and in-depth discussions.

Dan Nascimento comments on the inspiring traction driving Funny Business and the bustling community hub Rob & Lach have built around them, adding:

Meanwhile Jaddan shares on meeting the Funny Business crew and on the UNIFIED vision to expand beyond music management:

Meanwhile, its debut live event – shifted to IG Live and Clubhouse at the eleventh hour due to Victoria’s snap lockdown last month – has now been rescheduled to Saturday May 15.

Going down at 170 Russell, Funny Business Live will feature a panel of special guests including Erika Geraerts (Fluff skincare brand founder), Alex Zaccaria (AKA the brains behind Bolster & Linktree) and more to be announced. Offering a unique pod-meets-stage set up on the night, limited remaining tickets are available now through Moshtix.
